Legal background

According FCL.710 and GM1 FCL.710 an operator shall ensure that a flight crew member completes: (…) Differences training which requires additional knowledge and training on an appropriate training device (…) when operating another variant of an aeroplane of the same type.

The aim of the course

This course is intended to familiarize the pilots type rated on the B737-300/400/500 with the necessary theoretical knowledge and skills required to operate safely and efficiently the B737-600/700/800/900.

Pre entry requirements

In order to commence the B737Classic to NG difference course, the candidate pilot must fulfil the following requirements: Commanders and co-pilots Valid B737 300-900 Type rating At least 150hours experience on the B737 – 300/400/500

Theoretical Knowledge Instruction

B737 N.G. Systems Differences 16 hours

Synthetic Flight Training

Full Flight Simulator Training 8 hours
